So often we hear that couples wish they could have more than one day to indulge the multiple looks and visions they have for their wedding {as well as to extend the party!} Well, this lucky bride and groom got just that: an intimate wedding ceremony and reception for 38 guests in December and a full out party of a reception in March for 150 of their friends and family.

The intimate ceremony and reception dedicated to celebrating with Amber and Zach's closest friends was held at the Guthrie Theater. The Star Tribune, which featured their wedding, stated that "when Amber got engaged, the snow-loving bride said a winter wedding was a no-brainer. She envisioned the peacefulness of a white landscape. The bridal party braved the bitter chill for a few photos along the Mississippi riverfront, and the bride and groom went outside a few different times for photos." The style and décor for their first celebration of their marriage was airy and romantic and more subtle in the color palette. Amber, who LOVES rose gold, even had rose gold chiavaris mixed in with other gold accents on the linens and the tables. Gorgeous rose petals were scattered down the aisle, which we later used to accent the cake table. One of our favorite mementos from the day was a painting of Amber and Zach's ceremony as it was happening.

During Amber and Zach's second reception at A’bulae in early March, they celebrated their marriage with all of their friends and family. The design and feel for this reception was moody with deep navy, eggplant and, of course, rose gold! The feeling was relaxed and casual as guests dined from various food stations and danced the night away. Amber and Zach displayed items from the day they wed to share with guests, such as the finished painting of the ceremony and a vase that was blown and molded from pieces of glass collected by loved ones during their December wedding. This sweet couple truly celebrated their love in the most romantic ways.
